Policies & PracticesRefund Policy Each class for the Community Arts Project is open to a limited number of registrants. In registering for a class, you are holding a valuable slot which is then not available to another student. In the event that you or your child cannot participate in a session in which you have registered a 90% refund will be issued when a minimum of seven (7) days advance notice is given. No refunds or credits will be given after this time period. Please allow 30 days for refund processing. Make-up classes We understand illness is part of every day life. In the event that you or your child are ill and cannot attend a scheduled class, you are welcome to attend a similar class or drop-in studio during that session as a make-up. You must pre-register for your makeup class by contacting the CAP office. School Days/Cancellations Our schedule follows the Charlotte-Mecklenburg school calendar for children's classes. In most instances, if public school is out, children's classes are not in session either - unless you are notified by the instructor at the beginning of your session of any exceptions. These days off have been accounted for in our weekly schedules. If school is cancelled due to inclement weather, children's classes are cancelled as well, and a make-up class will be scheduled. The Fine Print... The Community Arts Project is not liable for any bodily or property damage incurred by the participants enrolled in CAP programs. Don't see what you want? We strive to offer a diverse schedule with classes that fit in even the busiest schedules. Still, if you don't see what you want, simply call CAP at 704-896-8823, or email us, and we'll start a list. If there is enough interest, we'll make every effort to offer the class! |
