Alla Ostrovsky

Alla Ostrovsky has lived and worked in two countries, America and Russia. Born in Moscow during the Soviet era, she developed a great love of drawing and painting leading her to earn MFA from the prestigious Moscow Art and Design Institute.

Before coming to America, she was exhibited with her young fellow Russian Avante-Garde artists in Moscow art centers, halls and galleries. She strives to exact the most from the sensation of color. Her work is deeply enriched by her multicultural background and traditions and her extensive international travel.

Alla currently maintains a studio and devotes full time to painting. She remains faithful to art and to her roots as a painter and steadfast supporter of the School of Russian Avant-Garde Art and artists as well as the local art community.
